Proceeds from Quilt Donated
by Fran Scanlon-Mills

The Mountain Laurel Arts and Crafts group (which meets in the library's multi-purpose room monthly) held a raffle for a quilt which was handcrafted by the members. A color picture of this lovely quilt was on display at the check-out desk in the library for a few weeks. The proceeds amounting to $1100 have been donated to the Library for discretionary spending by our librarian. The presentation was made on Thursday, June 17, as you may have seen in the local paper.
