Happy 2005 New Year to All! With the 2004 holiday season behind us, focus can now be on goals for this year. We have a fresh new year to make a contribution to our community through Friends of the Library. One of the major on-going projects for this year and in the near future is the hope of developing a Community Complex, which would include a new library building, a performing arts center, and several other buildings. Ideas are being explored by Friends of the Library representatives to determine steps to bring this vision to a reality. Much assistance will be required for this project, so if you would like to be a part, please come to the next regular meeting with your ideas and willingness to work! |

Other on-going projects are in place and the committee chairs always appreciate assistants! Please take time to also enjoy sitting in the Pattie Hamilton Reading Nook or reading to your children or grandchildren in the Pat Scott Kid's Corner or search the net in the quiet of the library without the often-at-home interruptions. |
